Midwest BioResearch is no ordinary Contract Research Organization.

Midwest BioResearch (MBR) formed in 2003 when scientists, managers and directors from major pharmaceutical companies joined forces to provide expert consultation in drug disposition and toxicology.  After five years of rapid growth, we were acquired by WIL Research Laboratories WIL Research Laboratories. This allows MBR for even greater stability and the ability to offer our clients a more comprehensive set of services.

Our combined professionalism, knowledge and rigor make us the ultimate partner for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies, as well as for agricultural and chemical companies. We offer a deep understanding of the role that preclinical sciences play in the discovery and development of a successful drug. Through our partnership with WIL Research Laboratories, we can provide you with a thorough understanding of EPA-related studies, particularly endocrine disruption assays.

It is estimated that nearly 86 percent of drug failures are a result of inadequate blood levels or unacceptable toxicity and side effects.  The ability to identify and understand drug disposition and toxicology are integral to compound selection and risk management during development programs.

We focus on critical areas of drug disposition and toxicology, giving you access to our vast pharmaceutical experience and external associations. Through our personalized and proactive service, you will be able to select and progress your protein or small molecule therapeutic out of discovery and through development faster and more efficiently.
